1. Read verses 1-2. What did Paul want the saints in the Corinthian Church to remind? Why did he want them to remind of the gospel? 

 

2. Read verses 3-4. What is the gospel? (3,4) Why did Paul put preaching the gospel as his first priority?  What is the relationship between the gospel and the Scriptures? (Ge 3:15, 12:3; Ps 22:1, 14-16; Is 53:5,6; 26:19; Ps 16:10, 17:15, 49:15)

 

 

3. Read verses 5-7.Who were the witnesses of the Risen Christ? (Lk 24:34, Jn 20:24, Mt 28:16, Ac 1:3) Why are these witnesses important in approving the authenticity and truthfulness of the resurrection of Christ?

 

4. Read verses 8-11. How did Paul meet the Risen Christ? (Ac 9:3-6)  What motivated him to become a witness of the Risen Christ? Why should we become witnesses of the resurrection of Christ in our generation? (Ac 1:8) And how?
