Psalm 146:1-10

1. Read verses 1-5. How long do we praise the LORD? Why? Why cannot we trust in any human beings or things of the world? (3-4) Who is God of Jacob and why are those whose hope in Him blessed? (5, Ps 33:12, 144:15)

2. Read v.6 Why is the LORD worthy of being praised and worshiped? Which characters of God does verses 6-10 show to us? How does these verses fulfill the role of the Messiah Jesus? (Is 61:1-2, Mt 11:4-6, Lk 4:18-21)

3. Read v. 7-9. From spiritual viewpoint, who are the oppressed? The hungry? The prisoners? The blind? The humble? The righteous? The foreigner? The fatherless and the widow? The wicked? How does these characters of God encourage us?

4. Read v. 10. How does God’s reign reach to our children? Find what God has done for you and your family in the year of 2023.
